Stefan Shen
Yuehan (as known as Stefan) Shen was born in Zhengzhou, Henan Province, China. He is committed to using the Oriental aesthetic concept of vision instead of language to enlarge the delicate inner emotions, and he believes that vision is a more efficient way of cultural communication. At the age of 16, he moved with his family to Auckland, New Zealand. Influenced by his grandfather as a photographer, he had his first camera and embarked on the road of photography.
Pie Ban shows the daily life of an old Chinese couple, my grandparents, Hu Baofeng and Han Jie as they live in their New Zealand home.
