Matt Butler
Matt Butler is an award-winning screenwriter born, raised and based in Tāmaki Makaurau. Having worked in the NZ Film Industry his entire adult life, Matt has written scripts for social media, videogames, web-series, and more, most recently with production company ODV - One Day Video.
Last year he received a NZ Writers Guild SEED Grant to develop and write the feature film JUNIORSENIOR, a time travel dark comedy.
Inspired by filmmakers like The Wachowski Sisters, Jim Henson & The Daniels, Matt loves to tell stories that have beating hearts at their centre and sincerity in their DNA.
